President’s Pen
Mrs Aleemra Ahmed is our first PTO president
I hope you all had a wonderful vacations and that you managed to enjoy some quality
time with your family and friends. This time of the year is always so busy with new committees
being formed and plans made for the upcoming year (not to mention getting children settled, after some leisure time!).
Along with work, family and other commitments you need to make sure that there is enough time in the day to get everything done. We have all heard the adage “If you want something done ask a busy person to do it” and I wonder why that is true? Is it because we have to be organized? And because we are organized there is always room for one more thing? I like to be organized as it makes me feel on top of the work I have to do. I am a great list writer and often feel better once I see what needs doing, and how long I need to get things done.. I hope everything you want to achieve this year goes well, and please all take some time to thank yourselves for all the wonderful work you do for your families and school communities. Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.
